Bought this smart socket to control the heating and lights in our chicken coop. I've only had this device installed for 4 days, but it works very well! The setup via the SmartLife app went smoothly and very quickly. I was able to set up an automation to control this smart socket using the SmartLife app to turn on the heating when the outside temperature falls below a certain threshold, similar to IFTTT. Unfortunately for IFTTT users, this device is NOT compatible with IFTTT but can be easily controlled with similar features in the SmartLife app. We had no trouble controlling the connected devices (heated waterer, barn heater and lights) even though it wasn't just outside, it was further than usual from our router. If you need a smart outlet to control your outdoor devices, this outlet is not only affordable, it's well made and easy to use! I'm definitely thinking of buying a few more for our outdoor Christmas lights!
