The bulbs are bright enough, but anyone using them as a replacement for halogen ceiling fan bulbs should note that if the ceiling fan is on but you want to turn off the ceiling fan bulb, you can't turn the light off completely. Since these are LED lights, they also burn with passive current. So in my ceiling fan I can't completely turn off the lightbulb and turn on the fan. The light will dim but not turn off completely unless you turn off power to the fan completely. This prevents you from completely turning off the fan light and turning on the fan. For example, if you prefer to sleep in total darkness and leave a fan running, you can't do that. That's what the description says, but I had absolutely no idea how it would come across to me. I hope this helps others. β» Please check the lamp type whether it fits your socket before purchasing. Even when the power is off, the LED bulb can light up easily because a small amount of current still flows through a normal dimmer or switch, and you will never notice it, and the LED chip is sensitive to it. This is normal and does not affect usage.
