I usually buy batteries in bulk. You get a much better price and the Duracell quality is top notch. Other alkaline batteries tend to leak. I had this problem with Energizer batteries. I'm not saying that Duracell batteries will never leak or corrode any contacts no matter what you use them for. Leaking normally occurs with almost all batteries. Due to where I live, I use Duracell batteries especially in my storm lights. In addition, the durability of Duracell is a great advantage. They hold their charge until you use them. I had a couple of batteries that I needed to use and they were a year past their expiration date. The batteries were fine and did not lose power. When I was in TV, I always trusted Duracell, especially microphones. I find they last longer than other branded batteries. Choose Copper Top! The new ones I haven't tried yet are the "Quantum" series they introduced. So far I can't see my opinion about them.
