Most of the batteries were empty (or with a minimal charge)

Don't waste money on these batteries. I bought it around 08/01/2017. First of all, they come in a plastic container (which according to the description is in a different packaging). In my case, however, the bin wasn't sealed, leaving me with a box full of loose batteries. I didn't bother too much as I realized you can't really harm the batteries. But now I'm wondering why aren't they in the regular Duracell packaging? I've only just started using them and found that most, if not all, are almost

Suspected authenticity of Duracell.

As with many reviews (I see now) for this particular item, I received 40 loose batteries in a plain white box, unlike the typical Duracell packaging. It is not so bad. The bigger issue is the lack of the usual Duracell markings and expiration dates on the batteries themselves. They're Duracell Duralock branded and have a manufacturer's code (MN1500), but that's about it (except they're made in China). Good old copper tips

I usually buy batteries in bulk. You get a much better price and the Duracell quality is top notch. Other alkaline batteries tend to leak. I had this problem with Energizer batteries. I'm not saying that Duracell batteries will never leak or corrode any contacts no matter what you use them for. Leaking normally occurs with almost all batteries. Due to where I live, I use Duracell batteries especially in my storm lights. In addition, the durability of Duracell is a great advantage. They hold…
