I use them in a DIY project called .
I am using them for a DIY project that is NOT a car door. They all work as advertised and I don't understand why they don't work on any door. I do NOT know if they are direct replacements for a specific door. They come with screws and push rods and the actuator moves about 0.75 inches. I did NOT measure the pull or push force, but they seem pretty strong. I would estimate at least 5 pounds of force.
