This puller worked where others failed. This tool from MTC successfully removed the prime mover on our Kawasaki 4010 4x4 Diesel Trans. We originally used an ATV Works zinc dichromate coated puller which was made from a softer steel which deformed (tip bent) when we attempted to remove the Kawasaki Remove Drive Converter Primary Drive/Primary Clutch Puller Tool, replaces OEM 57001-1429 (also fits Suzuki). and arctic cat). The ATV Works tool has a nice laser cut "ATV Works" marker, but the steel is too soft. Manufactured by MTC, this black phosphate coated puller was made of harder steel, would not deform, and successfully removed the prime mover. The MTC block was actually cheaper and worked better than the ATV Works tool. Bonus tip: Recommend smearing the inside of the drive block with penetrating oil and screwing in a puller to hold the oil so it can help when removing the drive block. Using an impact wrench is also helpful. Also coat the threads with a lubricant. The drive usually comes off with a sudden bang.
