Both screw options work on the Phantom3, I don't know why.

These guards come with 2 sets of screws. Longer hex head screws, presumably for the Phantom 2, and shorter Phillips head screws with "P3" on the pocket, presumably for the Phantom 3. I have the Phantom 3 and both screw lengths work. In fact, the shorter "p3" screws are almost too short. 2 out of 8 needed don't screw in, not enough threat. However, the longer screws did. I'm confused. Which screws are for what and why?
