Review on OXO 1058016 SteeL Cocktail Strainer by Elizabeth Smith

I started with this strainer and I love its design and ergonomics. I recently switched to Cocktail Kindom's Koriko strainer and have found that I like it better. While I prefer the Oxo's ergonomics more, the Koriko benefits from a stiffer spring. The ice my ice maker makes is in the shape of a hollow hot rod and when shaken it breaks, forming lots of shards of ice. The oxo nib is too loose and licks a lot of splinters, and I had to strain twice with a tea strainer to not dilute the drink too much. The Koriko has a really tight spring coil that catches most of the ice splinters so I don't have to try twice. If the Oxo had a stiffer spring it would be perfect.
