This is an amazing product that I have been using for several years now. If used properly, this product will NOT cause breakouts. The cleaning pad has two sides, one exfoliates more than the other, I use both sides every time I use the product. Please note that if you have very sensitive skin you should not use it daily as a deep cleansing is really good and can cause redness. My skin has been oily all my life, I am 52 years old now, my skin is normal and I have practically no wrinkles. A quick no-makeup selfie on the beach. I have a large sunspot near my left eye on my cheekbone (didn't use SPF until I was 35). You can see the texture and complexion is really good for my age and these pads are in my skincare arsenal. I use them 3 times a week. The best way to use them is to REMOVE MAKEUP. I always use Cetaphil Cleanser for daily makeup removal! I then spend about two minutes brushing the discs, with the soft side on and around the eyes and the rough side on the rest of the face. When I'm done I wet the pad and go back over my face without pressing, just wet the pad and quickly reapply. Rinse well, I rinse 10 times (yes I'm counting) and wipe dry. I use serums etc. These pads are great when going out. I can really tell a difference in my skin, it's rough and the complexion isn't as smooth or radiant.
