I didn't know the ring and tie down straps were plastic. I went to my local hardware store to get stainless steel replacement parts. Otherwise rope, nuts and other gear were of acceptable quality. Easy to install, although I recommend using a smaller drill bit than the instructions say and working your way up until it just fits. The size they are supposed to use is a little looser.
