They fit well but are ideal if you want to use them as a base layer for outdoor sports in cold weather or as a winter sports base layer and wear over them. I'd say true to size, but order if you want a looser fit. The material is very stretchy and feels sporty. The outside is smooth and stretchy, like a rash guard or smooth training leggings, but the inside has a very soft and matte texture that feels great. folded to a standard hem. All other collars, hems, sleeves, etc. have the typical folded and hemmed edges. The pants have a wide elastic band that is very stretchy and comfortable. .There is a tag although right at the seam of the back on the inside, it is particularly badly placed, scratched and will probably need to be carefully cut out by the owner before the children put it on. Please note that it is mainly polyester and some spandex. So they are not entirely harmless for a night's sleep. I know most fire safety experts will say that pajamas are cotton and that polyester is particularly bad for pajama sleep safety, so we mostly stick with these outdoor/daily items. I like the colors and the product in general. Overall I would recommend them.
