Essential for MacBook
It's quiet, looks cool and cools my laptop. I have a MacBook Pro and they are not known to turn on the fan often which causes it to get very hot and can damage the motherboard over time. In my opinion, such things are necessary for editing, gaming or even if you surf the sites for a long time. It's pretty cheap plastic, but the top is metal so it holds up well.
