This set does not include threads. I knew before buying that there are only 4 screws for the license plate. BUT the holes on the actual mounting plate are just that! They are NOT threaded. The screw will go in like a press fit, but not as secure as it should be. The size of the screw does not match the size of a normal license plate insert nut. To make matters worse, the screw is a bit too long. So if you use it with a plate as intended, the screw will protrude through the back a bit. That forces you to buy washers so they don't scratch your car. The top and bottom are so thin that they curve slightly. No problem if the plate is in front, but if not? It's an ugly sight. In fact I wouldn't buy this unless you use/or have existing insert nuts and buy a longer bolt to mount the plate and this bracket with the same bolt. I wouldn't rely on the screw mounts that come with it.
