My cat has a mild chronic respiratory infection. This disease seems to affect white or orange cats more than others and is a white Siamese mix. The only symptom is persistent black boogers in the nose. My vet recommended lysine treats, so I ordered them. He has been eating two treats twice a day for almost 2 weeks now and his black boogers have shrunk significantly. I used to have to blow his nose every day but now it only happens every few days and hopefully it will decrease even less as I continue to do so. He likes the taste but I break them in half because otherwise he has trouble chewing.
