Review on ⛳️ Enhanced Performance with Callaway Golf Supersoft Magna Golf Balls (One Dozen) by Daniel Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good ball. Definitely worth trying.

Not a big fan of shiny finishes. They're easy to hit head-on, which is great. Shots down the fairway seemed easier. I don't like putting with them just because they look so big compared to the club's face. I lost a lot of distance in them. By many I mean hit 320 yards. With them I maxed out at 285. On the driver I lost 35 yards, on 3 I lost 25-30 yards and on 5 I lost about 15-20 yards. Iron shots seemed normal. The wedge and underserve seemed to lose distance again, with the gap between 155 9-iron and 140 yards now being a 155-127 difference. This makes the 130 meter long par 3 a challenge without a very long shot on a long descent. I was constantly missing wedge shots. 56 only goes 85 yards down 20. 52 about 95 yards down 20 58 about 50 yards down about 15. As Joe Joe says, knowing (your yards) is half the battle. All is not lost because they are straight. The straight part means you'll have a hard time shaping your shots, which is both a positive and a negative. Positive because you don't notice when you hit a bad ball, bad because there's not much you can do if you want to paint or soften the shot. That's a good ball. Definitely not my favorite, that could be the regular Supersoft Matte or Chrome Soft X. Despite all that, today I got my best 9 on +2 with this ball. I had a great chance of landing under par until I hit the tee shot at 9 in the water. I'm not entirely sure if it was the ball because I know I have a more stable backswing, better contact and feel my best on the green, but the ball didn't hurt my score more than a couple of shots , where spin was important and that's what this ball lacks. I'll keep playing them until I lose them all. +2 means I will recommend them.
