These MSI computers have been known to have fan bearing issues long before they should. This fan is quiet and was undeformed when it arrived. It was packaged in a box wrapped in protective bubble wrap, complete with the tiny Phillips head screwdriver needed to pry the fan out of its housing in the computer. The last fan I bought less than two months ago from another supplier and brand is [A-Power Taiwan 180727]. This one was slightly bent when it arrived (second replacement). It is crucial to rock the fan in place without bending the fan's thin metal. This took about 1 hour and 30 minutes as I had a leftover screw and had to open the computer a second time to insert the missing screw.
