One of the 6 worst in the injection system
Well my failure was to replace all 6 of my jets with the cheapest ones I could find at Revain. They were able to get my 3.5 motor working again in my Magnum but the code was too bulky within a week of the replacement. I installed new spark plugs (OEM) and checked the fuel pressure. One of the new injectors is defective.
- Recommendations for regular cleaning of the injectors: in general, if the car is in good condition and the quality of the fuel is good, it can be done every 40,000-60,000 kilometers. Even if the injector is slightly clogged, there's no need to be overly nervous as accelerating in high gear can spurt debris out and dissolve. Car owners are advised to frequently drive at high speeds in everyday life to reduce the likelihood of carbon deposits.
