Review on 🏷️ DYMO LabelManager 160: Convenient Portable Label Maker for Home & Office Organization by Kaushik Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Outperforms Brother in everything but ONE font!

The label maker is a MUST HAVE and this make/model is a great option for those just starting out in labeling (oh what a joy! I'm so happy for you!)! I already have a Brother labeller and bought it for a friend for Christmas. I couldn't wait to compare them. Here's this Dymo's bottleneck: - Cheaper than its brother (both the device itself and the tape cartridges) - Intuitive and easy to use - Love the QWERTY keyboard - Love that there are different outlines, underlines, text size and style options has - LOVE it, it almost doesn't use as much tape on the sides as my Brother model (which can't be changed in the settings). That's one of Dymo's main advantages over Brother, in my opinion. Ribbon cartridges aren't cheap, and with so much tape going to waste on both sides of your text (which I usually just cut off) it really adds up! Hooray Dymo! The only thing lame about this particular model is that it only comes with ONE FONT. While the description is technically correct, I would like to say that when I have been told there are 6 fonts, it leads me to believe that I will receive multiple fonts. I have no idea what they think is the difference between "font style" and "text style" but to me "font style" is just another font while "text style" refers to bold, italics, etc . d This seems very misleading and confusing and I am disappointed that there is only one font. Also 2 or 3 to choose from would be nice. My brother wins there. But that's the only area. Everything else about this labeller is fantastic! If I had to buy a new one, I would happily buy this instead of Brother. Hope that helps!
