The good news is the tank came with an outlet filter as well as an inlet filter and an inexpensive gas cap. The bad news was that both rear bolt threads were grossly misaligned and one thread had weld slag stains. What should have taken 5 minutes to install the tank turned into an hour plus the frustration of some cross thread errors and eventually the need to tap the threads with a 12mm tap. It all finally came together and hopefully I'll never have to change the tank again, but the time wasted on that poorly designed tank is gone forever.
