The tank was designed for individual work on a self-made log splitter. Before installing a new tank, make sure the o-ring at the bottom of the tank is not damaged as mine has been pushed out on one side and gas has leaked out. After reinstalling the O-ring everything worked.

I liked the product for its price. I have not used it on a Honda engine. I had a log splitter with a bad gas tank. I removed the tank from the engine and installed it where you chop wood. That way I don't damage the gas tank with the logs being knocked out of the log splitter. I made the brackets for the tank myself.

The petrol tank disappointed me. The tank I received was a little crushed like there was too much weight on it. So I got a replacement and it was even worse. But for the price I keep the first one I get and send back a replacement. All I have to do is buy a new gas cap and deal with the small dent in the first tank I got.

Fits perfectly on my GX 160. However, the gas cap supplied does not physically fit the tank as the cap skirt slides into the tank digs. Compared to the original tank, the filling opening of the new tank is not as high as the original. I can put the original gas cap on the new tank, but it is difficult to turn. The good news is the tank came with an outlet filter as well as an inlet filter and an inexpensive gas cap. The bad news was that both rear bolt threads were grossly misaligned and one thread had weld slag stains. What should have taken 5 minutes to install the tank turned into an hour plus the frustration of some cross thread errors and eventually the need to tap the threads with a 12mm tap.
