Use the original gas cap, not the one supplied

Fits perfectly on my GX 160. However, the gas cap supplied does not physically fit the tank as the cap skirt slides into the tank digs. Compared to the original tank, the filling opening of the new tank is not as high as the original. I can put the original gas cap on the new tank, but it is difficult to turn. I had to use channel lock pliers to tighten the gas cap. There were also several dents on the tank and a spot with no paint. Since I couldn't find a cheap replacement, I'll leave it at that for now.
