Review on πŸ’Ί Enhanced Comfort and Mobility: Flash Furniture Mid-Back Gray Mesh Drafting Chair with Adjustable Arms by Lacey Barbee

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Best choice for under $100 but has major issues.

For the money this is normal. I don't see it as dangerous at all. Maybe other reviewers didn't put it together correctly? Lord knows the instructions that come with it are terrible. You will receive a normal office high chair with an additional "extension piece" for the base. The instructions and pictures are for a regular size office chair, NOT a high chair. There are NO instructions on how to add an extra part when assembling and I had to figure it out myself. Also, the assembly steps are pretty much skipped to make it look easier than it is. Also, the back and armrests are not adjustable at all. They are bolted securely in one position and only one position. I haven't added the armrests yet, but I feel like they would be too small for me if I did. The backrest is also not adjustable in any way and I will probably modify it myself in my shop to be adjustable or bend it to a more comfortable position. It's definitely a forward leaning back. Finally, the footrest is quite poorly constructed and cannot stay secure and often falls to the bottom of the chair. Other than that, I don't have any stability issues and at 240 pounds I'm a big guy. It feels pretty tight underneath me. I think more expensive chairs have a wider wheel span at the bottom because high chairs tend to be too heavy at the top. I was looking for a high office chair for less than 100 euros and this was the best choice. Though I probably wouldn't buy it again.
