Maybe it's just not my play style.
At first I liked them, they really helped me and my sore knees. The fact is that the skin in front is soft and thin. When lacing the skate, he presses the buckle and pulls a small puck. Every time I did a super hard push (like a quick rack lock in a cross pass) the plastic washer went through the slot. Regular use was fine, but it was still annoying that it happened a few times per game. I switched to flex cable and don't have this problem. It's just something to think about when considering them.
