What you need to know about eBikeling products

I found this through trial and error when working with ebikeling customer service. that all controllers and displays they sell are set to PAS (pedal assist) until you hit 18mph. You can set them to zero start and they will deliver power from a full stop BUT this power will be in SPURT and there is no way to program it from the unit. I tried all possible settings. I contacted their tech support and told them I wanted to use throttle only, no pedaling (and no PAS sensor cable was used) but they were never able to give me the correct throttle only settings which means the unit is waiting to that you pedal no matter how you adjust it, giving off power so jerkily up to 17mph, after which it eventually flattens out and just lets you ride at constant power depending on the throttle position, so it should be a dead center. ALSO with the TFT 750 C display it actually goes into cruise control by itself when you start from zero and go full throttle to speed 18, although you'll stutter if you should let go of the throttle and then reapply it to override the steering speed. The settings cannot be fine tuned, I return this for the Bafang which can be programmed with a TFT 750C display to do what I want. Too bad the programming cable doesn't work with any other TFT 750 C except the Bafang, at least they say it doesn't work (but I haven't tried it). The ebikeling TFT 750 C display is also a 5 pin green cable same as Bafang but not sure if it can be programmed or not. I would rather use something that is known to work differently than spend my time experimenting.
