I'm 5ft 8in, waist 34in but my stomach is about 36in. I ordered a large size. The material in them feels heavy when you hold them in your hands. I don't notice when I'm wearing them, but they are much heavier than cotton. I knew they were made from a spandex blend, but I still expected the oversized shirt to be loose fitting. The shirt isn't... It's skin tight. It's a very stretchy material so it doesn't really bind but shows every bulge. For a muscular person, this will probably be fine. Strangely, the shirts have a reflector, but only on one of the sleeves, so the light reflects off one side only. The shirts are just as tight as the shorts, which also have a narrow waistband but are otherwise baggy and awfully long. They hang down to the knees. impressed with the shorts. They have 2 hand pockets and no other pockets to hold anything. No P line either. They appear to be regular black shorts but are longer than I would like and not very comfortable for carrying a wallet or phone with me. I don't like walking with only handbags because I'm afraid that the keys or the phone will fall out of the pocket. Maybe I don't know what's in fashion right now, but it seems like a skinny shirt would go with a skinny pair. shorts. As a set, they don't seem to match in size. The set shows that it is machine washable, but I don't know all the symbols. I think one reads up to 30 degrees - I'm guessing that means about 85 F. This is a cool water wash if I'm reading correctly. But the label says not to iron the reflector, so I don't know for sure.
