Review on πŸ’‹ Optimized Forever Living Aloe Lips Balm: Soothe, Moisturize, Heal, and Protect Lips by Brook Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best lip balm I've found is real healing aloe!

Ever since Blistex DCT removed the aloe, which was the number one ingredient this year, and put camphor first, my lips have suffered terribly. I have chronically chapped, sore lips that are sensitive to many common ingredients in lip balms that have never worked for me in stick form. I also hate the camphor smell as does Carmex. In desperation, I tried Forever Aloe Lips along with a number of other aloe balms that had high ratings on Revain and nothing beats that! I no longer feel unhappy and my lips are soft and pain free. Not only does it give a sense of healing, but it also has a comfortable texture and forms a kind of protective barrier that tissue needs to heal when a person eats, talks, or sleeps. It is not sticky, so it should be applied lightly at first. The only downside is that it only has one flavor, which isn't unpleasant but is a bit like soft cherry lipstick. I'd like it neutral or minty, but it's not overpowering and the taste/smell wears off after a while, although the balm itself stays in place. Another thing to be careful with is that because it's so creamy, it will soften up a bit if you keep it in your bag or in a hot car. Just keep it rolled up a bit to avoid smudging when opening, and simply dab onto your lips to apply an appropriate amount of product. I prefer Forever Aloe Lips as a balm in a jar and in public places where it's awkward to wash my hands first or deal with soiled fingertips. It's also made in the USA with seemingly high-quality ingredients. I'm so tired of companies that "improve" formulas only to mess them up. Please do not modify this product unless new flavors are to be added!
