These were installed on a 2002 Chevy Silverado when the intake manifold gasket was replaced. Replacing these gaskets added an extra 20-30 minutes to the entire project, but I'm glad I did it. You won't notice an increase in performance per se, but to me it's more of a reassurance. Used a small pickaxe to remove the old ones and put them back on using just my fingers to make sure I didn't cut the seals. Fit like original. I have driven the car about 10,000 miles since the replacement and it runs well. The car runs much better but it has more to do with changing the intake gasket and cleaning the injectors. Note. If your trucks are idling before warming up in cold weather, the intake manifold gasket needs to be replaced. Colder air is denser, which increases the effect of unobstructed airflow.
