I bought this to use with my phone so I probably don't get full use of it. I think I'm pretty close. STRUCTURE: It seems very strong! The leg covers are really, REALLY grippy and flexible. Now I can bend it into different shapes. I've managed to attach it to a vertical metal rod about 1" in diameter and I'm sure it will work on any other material with a little less friction. Although you can easily straighten it, it will not lose its changed shape. It certainly looks like it will work for a few years. The phone holder is made of plastic, has 2 directions of attachment and has foam padding where the back of the phone rests. It also fits all sizes of phones. Since the phone grips are also made of plastic, the only potential problem I might have is scratching the phone if they don't use a phone case. However, I have a feeling almost everyone uses phone cases so this will likely only affect a small portion of the population. The ball joint can be rotated vertically 180 degrees along a vertical plane and approximately 30 degrees along the entire axis perpendicular to the ground. In addition, the nozzle can rotate 360 degrees in a plane parallel to the phone. BLUETOOTH: (I'm using an Android phone.) Pairing was very easy. As stated in the little guide: turn on Bluetooth on your phone, turn on the remote control and press "AB Shutter 3" when it appears in the list. The remote simply presses the capture button, so it seems you can use it with all camera modes. I ran tests for regular photos and videos using the default camera app on my phone. You have the option to upload your own app, but I don't like clutter and haven't tested it. CONCLUSION: 5 stars. The only thing I would like to improve is the implementation of a rubberized/soft grip on the phone mount, but that doesn't concern me at all since I use a phone case. I can't think of any other upgrades that will affect the durability of his current build! Absolute recommendation to buy this product.
