tl; dr - works better than all the other crap. Can be noisy but actually lowers the temperature of the laptop. Every laptop accessories company has to steal a lot of the technical ideas from it. I've tried about a dozen laptop cooling products over the past decade. I am convinced that this is the most efficient design for laptop cooling. It's not perfect, but way better than any other similar product. If I were to judge it on its merits alone, it wouldn't deserve five stars. But compare it to similar products and it's miles ahead. This design should be the industry standard. I think it costs a lot more than it should, but I'd pay more for an almost identical design with a few fixes. Pros: Comfortable on the knees - Heat is extracted and spit out from behind. My laptop already has a rear air intake, but they even include a couple of extra flaps to prevent cross-flow. Mainly made of durable plastic. The base easily fits larger laptops (like my 17.3 inch screen). The laptop mounting clips are great, simple and effective. Easy to turn on and off, increase fan speed. The color indicators are nice and easy to change or turn off. Cons: May not work on all laptops depending on vent and exhaust location. The fans aren't quiet, but they're less noisy than many of the other options you've probably tried if you're still reading this, and you're probably wearing headphones if your computer really needs cooling.
