Batteries are included if interested. I set up both remotes in less than two minutes and they both work great. My wired wall controller was out of order, so I bought one and just hooked it up to the garage wall with velcro. Cheaper than Chamberlain or Liftmaster but work just as well. In order for them to work, you need a 2.0 garage door unit, which means a Wi-Fi enabled unit. You do NOT need wifi to use them or your opener. Basically, locate and press the learn button on the garage device, then press and hold one of the three buttons on the new opener until you hear the device double-click, and you're done. Two minutes is probably more time than you need.
