Not what I expected.

Purchased 9 x 12 to make curtains for our sliding door, 9ft deep is perfect height for 8ft ceilings and 12ft long is perfect for double fill. Most wipes have a continuous center seam (12' side) making them unsuitable for diagnostic purposes. I looked at a few different options and tried to find a version of this from my favorite brand, but they don't offer a seamless version. The pictures are deceiving, but overall it's a good buy. The color is light grey, not the usual beige linen color of most napkins. I will be bleaching the fabric so this will probably work in my favor as it shouldn't rise as much. (Photo of fabric laying on a cream white linen cushion to show the color difference.) The edges are NOT the thick stitched edges shown in the Revain photo! They are sewn with a single 1/4" seam. This is disappointing as I have to buff them all to harden them for future laundering. (I will attach a photo showing the edges and sewing the corners.) - The weight is thinner than any fabric I have ever owned.I own a painting company and have used hundreds of different tarpaulins over the years from very cheap to expensive latex based canvases. The thinness of this canvas worries me about durability after bleaching as it weakens the fibres. This fabric is only suitable as a home project fabric. I would never use it for anything that really needs surface protection. Paint, dust, ultra violet rays and everything else just passes through this material. To be honest I would say it COULD be 5oz canvas - I will upload a picture of the canvas draped over the window opening I would recommend this if you want a gray tone curtain, used only to filter light and you need a seamless width. This is a good option. If, after buying another fabric, durability (thick lightening material, double stitching) or real surface protection is important!
