Review on 🔗 Fernco P1059 33" Flexible Coupling: Enhanced Diameter for Superior Sealing and Flexibility by Angel Cortez

This part eases the transition from old cast iron spigots and flared tubes to PVC. I had an existing 3" cast iron "bell"/outlet that was about 1/3 buried in a concrete wall in our basement that needed to be upgraded to 3" PVC. It took some hammer drill and chisel work to remove enough concrete for the fitting to fully engage. As the finish of the cast iron was far from perfect I applied a thin coat of silicone to the inside of the fitting to ensure a good seal, tightened the clamps and there were no leaks. Good product.
