I love my new lamp! The new slim design is compact on my desk and doesn't take up much space at all. The smart digital timer is ideal for technicians doing nails for clients. I've had issues with black gel polish not setting properly and the dual power feature eliminates any bubbles or waves that don't set fully. The lower power function gradually increases every 30 seconds to avoid heat shock when using builder gels and I don't want my clients to feel pain during my treatments. The reve buttons are easy to press and any set time can be canceled by pressing the 30 or 60 second button again. This bottomless lamp can also be turned upside down for applying gel nails without having to support the lamp. UV/LED lamps are safer on the eyes than older UV lamps, although looking directly into the lamps is not recommended. I am very happy with the SUN8 and will most likely buy another one for a dual cure or just a pedicure.
