i am a speech therapist and bought it for therapy. Preschool and elementary age children love making different faces and this gives them a chance to practice describing, giving directions, and understanding and naming emotions. It can also be used as a game reinforcement to practice new speech sounds. While this is most practical for preschoolers, it has been helpful for younger children with autism to see how different parts of the face can change how you feel (brows down center - crazy, brows up - center - sad) . I am very happy with this purchase!
