the fan works well. Aside from the hassle of removing so many things to replace it, the only issue we had was that it made an awful noise when we first turned it on, like something was getting stuck in the blades, and we got over it real quick switched off. I had to go through all the difficulties of removing everything again (battery, computer), checking it and seeing small black spots on the tips of the fan blades. I think we only had to run it for a few seconds to wear down the edge on the ends of the blades a bit. There was a small black piece of plastic that the fan blade tips were hitting against. I wish I could take a picture to show what I'm talking about, but we're not deleting everything again. So if you face the same problem, just run the fan for a few seconds and let the blades wear out and the noise will go away. Otherwise everything works fine and we are glad that we don't have to freeze in the jeep this winter.
