I have a whole collection of mops from the cheap Viledas to the Rubbermaid Reveal to the absurdly expensive Norwex mop system and I have to say this is my favorite the mall. Our condo has the original 1852 hardwood, and while we love the character, it's definitely a lot harder to clean than regular modern hardwood, especially if you have a dog that likes to drool (and saliva sticks to hardwood floors). like super glue). This whole "apply a little Bona and wipe with a minimally damp microfiber sponge" approach does absolutely nothing in our case, so I've been searching for the perfect mop for many years. That's what I love about Twist and Shout. :- You can easily wring it out to the right moisture level. Microfiber pads are always either too wet (not good for hardwoods and leave water stains) or too dry (causing them to tip over, which is driving me crazy), but this guy holds the perfect amount of water. It's incredibly easy to peel off. and requires no wet and damp hands! - This is an absolutely amazing job with dog spit - you'd think a thicker microfiber pad would clean better, but for some reason they had to go over the same spot multiple times and press really hard, but Twist and Shout removes it all much faster and with less upper body effort. We have 1200 square feet of hardwood and this mop allows me to get everything done in a fraction of the time it would take me to use other mops. - I throw the mop head in the washing machine when I'm done - a warm quick cycle on a medium spin and it looks brand new. What I don't like about it: - I won't lie, it doesn't look like the strongest mop. But if it breaks, I'll buy a new one right away, that's how I like it. - A bucket can be used with a spout. - If you're lazy and haven't vacuumed/swept first and stumble into a corner full of dog fur/hair, this mop won't pick it up, just drag it along - learned the hard way! I paid full price for this mop and while it's definitely an investment I really recommend it to anyone fed up with all the other options. My Norwex mop is now picking up dust from using Twist and Shout.
