Not bad but not rechargeable

I bought these for my great grandchildren as a Christmas present. Although the outer packaging said they were rechargeable, inspection revealed that they weren't. Each requires 4 AA batteries. They work well but the little one loves to press the buttons and change channels all the time so they can't talk to each other. I am sure that in time he will understand.
