I really like the quality of this brush. The wood is nicely weighted and the bristles are strong. I just don’t like how pokey the plastic bristles are. I felt like they could be potentially causing damage to my scalp. I wish the tips of the plastic bristles were more rounded. The little brush rake works well at cleaning trapped hairs out of the brush. The comb is just your run of the mill cheap rat tail comb, nothing special. My hair looked silkier after using this brush. It didn’t tame my fly aways but it did tone down and smooth the frizz. One happy bonus that I noticed was that this brush is great for getting dog fur out of my hair. I didn’t realize that I had any fur in my hair, but this brush found and removed it.
