This zipper is absolutely monstrous. Can't comment on durability as we've only just started using it. Our application required four (4) separate zippers (not cheap) and so far so good! Did I mention these things are HUGE? Yes, quite significant. One of the "attribute ratings" is stretch. These have no stretch. In fact, they are quite "inelastic". We use them for the outdoors: the Marine Corps cloth cover for the combat robotics arena that lives outside. They provide access to the arena doors when undone. I will update this as needed but for now I can say they are very strong and if you want a big strong zip (it's NOT metal) then they are definitely worth it.
