Works great! One of the fastest burners I've ever had and I've never burned a bad CD or DVD. Reading some of the other reviews I didn't install all the software - only Nero. You can download the Lightscribing software tools from [.] instead of using the junk on the installation CD. Works MUCH better and you don't have to worry about spyware and software you will most likely never use. Until I researched them in detail, I didn't know what "Lightscribe" was. I just thought it was a brand of recording equipment (like Panasonic or Samsung). After buying this LG recorder I also bought some Lightscribe CDs and recorded my first one in about 20 minutes. Wow! It was neater than I thought and looked very professional. This LG was VERY easy to set up. I have an old Dell Tower computer running XPSP3; Plugged in LG power cord, plugged in USB cable, and immediately the "Found New Hardware" message appeared. I installed Nero from the installation CD that came with the burner and I burned it within 10 minutes of installing it. Excellent! I just wish more things we bought were this easy or well made. Thank you LG for a great product!
