I bought 2 of these, one for a 2007 Toyota Sienna and one for a 2013 Nissan Xterra. The product works by attaching a small sheet of metal to the back of the phone and a strong magnet surrounded by soft rubber holding the phone to the mount. I chose not to use glue, just inserting a strip of metal into the case. The attachment teeth are inserted into the air nozzle. For Xterra, my iPhone stays in a near-perfect position. I put a strip of metal in the top corner of the phone where it doesn't cover the camera with the bracket at the bottom of the air vent. Thus, the ventilation hole is not blocked. On the Sienna, the phone is best positioned in landscape mode. In both cars, I can easily access the phone's touchscreen and press the home button. Soft rubber keeps the phone in place. The kit includes 3 metal strips, 1 small round one that I use and 2 additional larger rectangular ones with rounded corners. They are so thin that they are invisible under the body. A few cons: I have a clear case with a silver phone, the metal strip is black. I don't mind having a huge black dot on my phone, but some might not like it. Placing your phone over an air vent with the heater on can cause phone overheating issues, especially when running GPS apps like Waze. .
