I lost the original weatherstrip from rot and age. The replacement product was a "T" shape base that would slide in a track with very specific dimensions. I failed in finding this replacement product because of the age of the window sash. This weatherstrip productI bought here was not applicable in the same way, however, it does have a remarkably tacky and strong adhesive base that actually sat on top of the track where the original weatherstrip would slide in. The sash opens and closes with no issue or disruption. The strip remains in place as it should. This an above and beyond product.
