I installed two 8 watt dual heads in a 110 x tall aquarium to remove dead spots. they work great! one at each end, one high and one low, I dropped the cichlid scales in the aquarium to watch the flow and they swelled all over the place and ended up in the sand to the left, so I either drop one on point in the dead zone , or I'll just take another double head that will fix it too. It would be better if one of the dual heads was up and the other down, then there would be no dead zones. The white flow switch on them doesn't seem to change the flow much on dual heads, although I think the forward switch is the flow itself. They also seem to make their own bubbles, which is good for a crowded cichlid tank. They back their product with a lifetime replacement warranty, which is great. I love how you can move them by sliding them with a very strong magnet. also satisfied with the consumption of each of the 8 watts. worth the extra money.
