I like to have this for my small dogs to take to the vet. Be sure to tie the seat belt high enough in the center of the seatback to prevent it from tipping over while driving. My husband installed mine and when I put my 4.5 lb dog in it the back slid down and wrinkled it so he was a little upset. I had nowhere to stop and it took me a while to get out and fix it from the back. I had to wait to actually get to the vet 12 miles away. We love the style of the basket and have yet to find one that is as good. The ceiling is not helpful. It just accumulates at the bottom of the basket. It takes a little while to get off the passenger seat so I keep it in my car and no one rides in front. However, we do like that the colored liner is washable. One of our puppies threw up as soon as I got home. It washed well and kept the same color as before. We have one called "red". But it's more of a fushia color that suits us perfectly. Generally without it in any way.
