Review on Delphi DC20010 Distributor Cap: Superior Performance in Sleek Black Design by Trey Harvey

Purchased for 1998 Silverado with 5.7 Vortec. These engines are notorious for distributor/spark problems, particularly from non-original distributor caps. Delphi/ACDelco are the ONLY caps I recommend installing as the cheap ones from parts stores/online are very prone to sparking in the cap in the plastic between the traces from the rotor to the wire connectors. Do not save. Buy this. The car did not arrive, there was a spark, but very weak. A new cheap cover and rotor was installed 6 months ago. Installed this and the associated rotor and fixed the problem.
