I have a California 2002 Honda Civic LX 1.7L that I have this installed on. The reason I had it fixed was because of a cracked manifold. The block fit perfectly. The heat shield took a little effort to line up with the cat, but I installed it. Funny, you might think this would be the easiest. The brackets that come off the cat for the heat shield are unthreaded so you will need to use a nut and bolt. Before putting on the heat shield, tighten the upstream lambda probe, as the O2 key (borrowed free from Pepboys) does not fit on the built-in heat shield. Which should show Walker or Revain exactly what you get with Cat bolts: for the exhaust manifold (I reused my original), bolts and nuts for the heat shield, exhaust manifold gasket (thicker than factory and doesn't look as refined as the original, but I used it anyway as I thought the thickness might compensate for any imperfections in the exhaust manifold flange), it had no bolts to connect to the exhaust pipe (I used the original) and there was no gasket for that connection either (I bought a Walker 31357 exhaust gasket via the iPhone app). but there was a hint on the Revain website that this wouldn't work on my 2002 Civic (I found out about it later), the iPhone app didn't warn me! Fix it in the app! Now purring like a kitten, an insta pro for some rolling eggs! I need to go back to the smog center as they abandoned me and charged $700 for repairs. I also replaced the Walker front motor mount. Fits perfectly. Update 7-14-14 As expected. Passed a smog test yesterday. Good product. Update 9-9-14 Mileage seems to have gone down at least a few mpg, not sure why. Update 1-3-15 Mileage seems back to normal and still running great. One thing I need to figure out is how to recycle my old cat for money. Update 08/12/17: We lasted three years and the exhaust cracked again. It's making record noise again so I'll be contacting Walker to see if I can take advantage of the 5 year 50,000 year warranty. I'll let you know what happens. Update 8/16/17 Revain issued a full refund and the unit will be shipped to me for installation. I'll spray penetrating oil on the exhaust studs to make them easier to remove and borrow an oxygen sensor tool from the pep guys. I installed a new coil but the heat shield screw holes didn't line up so I had to use the old heat shield. I sent in a new heat shield and an old cat with a note of poor heat shield design. The machines are quiet again, let's see for how long.
