Great quality for the price

I rushed to buy it because the price was lower than brands like Dorman. Also because I live in California. I received these and the quality looks good. Installed without problems, I was able to pass.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • So far so good

Great catalyst

Walker catalysts are pure quality. I chose this brand for the direct fit option rather than the extra work that Magnaflow requires when fitting their catalytic converters. Take a walker, it's the best option.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This is to buy!

Unlike other brands on Revain this really fits into California cars at a fraction of the price. It's CARB legal and the check engine light is off. 02 civil. Don't waste your time and money on others if you want to pass the smog and get the code this is the item you need to get.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad

Great price for CA Legal. No more P0420.

Finding CARB approved parts can get expensive! When I saw legal CA catalysts selling for $300-$500 on most websites I wasn't happy. After much searching, I found this relatively cheap converter compared to all others. I took off the old clogged one, put this one on and done. Code P0420 no longer exists. I would advise you to buy additional manifold mounting parts instead of reusing the old ones. Other than that, this thing is a bargain for CA's legal side. Strangely, apart from the price, there

2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe 230,000 miles

CHECK ENGINE LAMP PASSED! PASSED THE CALIFORNIA SMOG! The Check Engine light came on for code P0420. I changed the oxygen sensors, coolant temp sensor and thermostat and cleared the code. The check engine light came on again. I replaced the catalytic converter with this one, the check engine light didn't go out. survived the smog with no problems! Easy installation. I used liquid sealant to hold the gasket in place when installing the exhaust manifold. I ordered an o-ring and downpipe hardware…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • price high

Cat for 2002 Honda Civic 1.7L

I have a California 2002 Honda Civic LX 1.7L that I have this installed on. The reason I had it fixed was because of a cracked manifold. The block fit perfectly. The heat shield took a little effort to line up with the cat, but I installed it. Funny, you might think this would be the easiest. The brackets that come off the cat for the heat shield are unthreaded so you will need to use a nut and bolt. Before putting on the heat shield, tighten the upstream lambda probe, as the O2 key (borrowed…
