This third high mount center stop light exceeded my expectations. It fits my Explorer perfectly and the quality seal ensures no water gets in. While the washer will stick to what it is pressed against, it can be carefully removed to adjust if needed. Try to get it 95% right and do it by caulking/gluing the gasket on the lens assembly first. Using rubbing alcohol I wiped the area of the car that the assembly may have come in contact with. I'm going to replace the rest of the brake/tail lights with LED's. This configuration is 5=6 times brighter than the factory configuration with conventional light bulbs. I'm so glad I didn't go out and buy the old LED bulbs as I should have bought 6. They are sold in pairs and cost over $45 at auto parts stores or Wal-Mart. . Also, I would be stuck with an old lens assembly that also needs an adhesive pad. This product saved me money and was a much better solution too.
