My wife bought me this inflatable surfboard after doing a lot of research on SUP and decided the Awesafe Inflatable was worth trying. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. However, when he arrived, I began to change my mind. Everything seemed to be well made and the material that made up the paddleboard itself seemed very durable. The double-action hand pump (can also be set to single-action) filled the paddleboard well to the desired pressure. Although we used a power pump to basically inflate it and a hand pump to stop the pressurization. The hand pump has a pressure gauge that shows you when you have reached the desired pressure. The upper adjustable part of the paddle didn't hold the handle in place so I turned the screw one turn to tighten the latch and now it works great. We tried the plank in the pool for our small community (no one around). I'm 6ft 1in and 190lbs so I was concerned about how she would support me. I was very happy with the board's stability and how easily it moves through the water. All my concerns other than durability were addressed, but I'm sure it will last given the quality of the materials. The backpack has space for all gear, including pump and paddles, and is very easy to carry around. That's a thousand times better than carrying solid boards any distance. And when the paddleboard is inflated, it's still much more comfortable than a hard board. Also, we don't need a trunk to take them with us. Just put your backpack down and we'll be on our way. loading and unloading time. The durable paddleboard more than makes up for the time it takes to inflate an Awesafe inflatable paddleboard. So my skepticism is gone and I'm happy. There will be lots of fun in San Diego, Lake Powell and elsewhere. was great. Our friends and family were also impressed with their strength, stability and fun. Unfortunately, one of the removable fins broke. Emailed Awesafe and they were amazing. They responded in less than 24 hours and provided us with a replacement very quickly. These guys are really incredible.
