Review on Delta Faucet Foundations Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet, Chrome - Timeless Elegance for Your Modern Kitchen by Robert Weeks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Superb faucet priced at

This was meant to replace the Pfizer faucet in our kitchen. Installation was easy - as easy as it gets. I just made myself as comfortable as possible and went to work with a pillow on my back. I connected the utility lines before threading them through the hole so I wouldn't try to tighten them with a wrench in a tight spot under the counter behind the sink. It worked very well. The assembly is easily tightened without tools using two large plastic nuts that are finger tight. The spray hose snaps into place immediately after correct alignment. My advice: look at the orientation before inserting the faucet, then it will be easier to understand which way to turn the shower hose connector. There are no leaks and so far so good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that we had to return/replace the first one due to the valve assembly dangling in the body. There were no problems with the replacement, but the second had a rough spot on the handle. I replaced the grip with a new one with a broken one that was in better condition but still has a slight roughness to the finish. I could probably trade again, but after two installs I didn't feel like doing it a 3rd time. Also, the roughness is barely noticeable unless I'm looking for it. All in all, this is a great faucet for the price. I'm sure a more expensive one would have a better finish, but in today's economy.
